Did you ever wonder who were the first owners of this home? Well, so did we. We found out and named the home after the first owner. Here is her picture and her story.

Sally Lou

She was born 5 Aug 1927 in Asheville, NC. Sally lived the first 19 years of her life in and around Hollywood, Florida where she and her family joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many church positions throughout her life. She graduated from South Broward High and attended BYU. Upon arriving in Provo in 1946 she worked for the telephone company as supervisor and trainer.
Sally married in 1949 and the home was built the same year. She worked as a nurse for Dr. Iliff Jeffery, did home health care and in later years worked for the Forest Service. She was an avid genealogist and poet. She served a full time mission for the LDS church October 1999 – March 2001.She live there until she passed away.
Sally loved the colors blue (especially turquoise and yellow)
